In my 20s, when should I start thinking about a fertility assessment?

I’m in my 20s and have recently been seeing a lot online about fertility assessments and how more people are exploring egg freezing earlier in life. I’m not planning to have children anytime soon (probably not for another 10 years) but I want to make informed decisions now so I have no regrets later.

I also have suspected endometriosis, so I’m wondering if it would be smart to get a fertility check sooner rather than later. Would a fertility assessment help me understand where things stand? And is it too early to consider egg freezing as a proactive step?
I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through something similar or has any advice. When did you start thinking about this, and what helped you make your decision?
