Tambre is one of the first reproductive medicine clinics in Spain, founded in 1978 by Dr Pedro Caballero, a pioneer in assisted reproduction and member of the drafting committee of the Spanish Assisted Reproduction Law. In addition, we were the first semen bank in Madrid and the second in Spain.

For almost five decades, we have supported thousands of people. Today, we are a national and international reference centre for complex cases, combining science, cutting-edge technology and highly personalised care.

Our medical and care teams speak six languages: Spanish, English, German, French, Italian and Dutch. And more than 70% of patients are international.

Our multidisciplinary team includes fertility specialists in gynaecology, embryologists, fertility nurses, immunologists, urologists, geneticists, psychologists and nutritionists, among others.

The first visit: step by step (Patient Journey)

1. First consultation (in person or online) – We review your medical history, symptoms, previous treatments and concerns.
2. Advanced diagnostics – We perform the necessary tests to identify the cause of the reproductive issue (hormonal, uterine, ovarian, male, genetic or immunological).
3. Personalised treatment plan – A multidisciplinary team studies your case and defines the most appropriate and safe treatment.
4. Preparation – Coordination with fertility nursing, plus psychological and nutritional support if needed.
5. Start of treatment – Continuous support, follow-ups, monitoring and direct contact with the care team.
6. Embryo transfer and follow-up – Optimised protocols, state-of-the-art laboratory and emotional support all the way through to the pregnancy test and the first weeks of gestation.
